This is what my mother used to wear while I was playing dress ups in her wardrobe. Do you remember the fun of falling around the house in your mum's heels? Using her skirt as a tent? What did your mother used to wear?
Here's a set dear to my heart- Inspired by the heart of Australia, Uluru. I stumbled across some pictures of indigenous fashion week and came upon the Roopa Pemmaraju line. This fair trade line is designed by indigenous Australians and produced on Indian hand-woven fabric. The dyes are organic and the designs so earthy and fresh. What do you think?
Inspired by a friend whom is a refashionista, here's a lovely clump of recycled, upcycled, repurposed and fair trade ideas and items. How cute is that map headband from www.recycled-market.com????
