Wednesdays can be fun

Wednesdays can be fun

Wednesdays can be fun
Close to what I wore in the real world on Wednesday.
Close.. but so far..

Boy's wardrobe inspiration board 3-4 yrs

Z's size 4 wardrobe idea board draft

A draft idea board for the cutest little blond boy.
Nice and simple, easy to sew (and knowing boys, patch).
Pairing 40s mens fabric with 70s styles and cuts.

Sew-far (ahh let the bad puns begin)  I've sewn two oversized turtle/cowl neck pullovers, one charcoal with a 'check trim' front pocket, the other an olive with a cream panel in the sleeve for interest.
They're a hit with the little one.

He's almost outgrown his 'man trousers', with high waist, silver buttons and front pleats which I made early this year.
Boys look so cute in trousers and I love the idea of using a tie for the back pocket, to take a little of daddy with him wherever he goes.

What would you love to dress your little one in?

Hang in there Australia- Hurry up Summer

Hang in there Australia- Hurry up Summer

Hang in there Australia- Hurry up Summer by simplastic featuring quiksilver shirts
After one of the coldest winters in a long time and seeing many northern hemisphere summer sets, we Aussies can sit tight and dream of summer.
Especially Melbournians.. our weather is mental!

My resolution- Visit the beach more often

My resolution

My resolution by simplastic featuring a fedora hat
.. I live about a 10 minute walk away from the beach here in beautiful Australia and even in Summer, rarely take advantage of it.
Here's my mid-year resolution, to take advantage of being able to feel the sand between my toes, even when it's a little chilly.
