You fool, you think I'm beautiful

You fool, you think I'm beautiful

Me, this one little soul on a big bad crowded planet, I think that our differences make us beautiful.
When hubby-to-be and I produce photographs, make coffee or even describe the same event, it's so amazingly different, but compatible by a mutual understanding of the love of photography, coffee and having fun.

So you, random stranger whom did somehow stumble upon this rambling blog, what makes you beautiful?
What are your strengths, and your little weaknesses?

What inspires your heart?
That's pure beauty, let it shine and love may find you.

Family picnic- Beautiful Australia

Family picnic

Today was such a wonderful day.
Australia is a beautiful place, it's nice to pop into a nature reserve park for a barbecue, past the gumtrees with white cockatoos squawking, as the sun sets and cyclists pass on their scenic route in the distance.

Setting up in the last rays of  today's Springtime sun, showing little hands how to peel paperbark and  where wattle flowers are, spying bunnies shying in the darkness on a drive back home towards a bay of  bleeding rainbow skies.

This is pretty much what I wore today for family veggie-burger flipping and enjoying the very best things life gives us in good company.

..Except I made the bag and knitted bracelets myself.

REALITY:

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Hope you have a lovely day :)

You're beautiful, just as you are, being you

You're beautiful, just as you are.

You're beautiful, just as you are. by simplastic featuring a matte eyeshadow
It's my best friend's birthday today. She's one of those friends I don't get to catch up with often, but when we do, we talk for hours.

She amazes me in that she's happy to be herself and has such a fun, understated dress style, a little like this.

Do you have a friend who inspires you?

Thank you everyone for following me, Polyvore is so much fun and you're all so welcoming.

Here's a set dear to my heart- Inspired by the heart of Australia, Uluru.
I stumbled across some pictures of indigenous fashion week and came upon the Roopa Pemmaraju line. This fair trade line is designed by indigenous Australians and produced on Indian hand-woven fabric.
The dyes are organic and the designs so earthy and fresh.
What do you think?

Strawberries smashed through icecream

Strawberries smashed through Icecream

Strawberries smashed through Icecream by simplastic featuring opi nail polish
Inspired by dessert.
How incredibly cute is that cream whip ring?

Recipe
How to make a smashed strawberry cone:
Pour chocolate topping or make your own (cook sugar, cocoa powder and coconut cream or a dribble of water and microwave on high for 20-45 seconds) into a waffle cone and pop in the freezer to harden.
Cut tops off fresh strawberries (or any other berries) and squish with a fork, leaving a few lumps of fresh strawberry bites throughout.
Add your icecream and gently whip it through the strawberries until just pink with berry swirls.
Freeze if needed, then serve in waffle cone.
Enjoy!
